They can be deliberately misleading. LM don't test their 'products' (italics) on animals nor do they contract anyone else to. <br />What about the individual ingredients though?<br />Lots of companies deliberately use the words 'products' or 'finished products' because the individual ingredients, or some of them, ARE tested on animals...<br />I'm not saying LM is one of these culprits but I would grill them further on this if you haven't already.<br />Also, be careful about 'lists' of cruelty-free companies. Peta, for instance, list companies as this who are very suspect! Different levels of rigour used by different assessors.
